Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of TVPerch.

Version 1.1-draftLast updated: October 20, 2026Effective: upon administrator approval
This document is a plain-English draft prepared for review by an attorney experienced in nationwide service marketplaces. It is presented so customers and contractors can read how TVPerch operates. It is not attorney-approved legal advice, and final versions take effect only when approved and published by TVPerch.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TVPerch website at tvperch.com (the "Site") and the TV installation marketplace services that TVPerch provides through it. By submitting an installation request, making a payment, applying as a contractor, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

TVPerch is the trade name of a nationwide TV installation marketplace operated under the Redhawk Handyman Services business structure. [ADMINISTRATOR TO CONFIRM: ] Registered legal entity name, mailing address, and contact email to be confirmed before final publication.

2. The Marketplace Relationship

TVPerch operates an online marketplace through which customers can request, arrange, coordinate, and pay for television installation services that are performed by participating independent installation contractors. Participating installers are independent businesses; they are not employees or agents of TVPerch.

TVPerch's role in each booking generally includes:

  • receiving and reviewing installation requests, including the details, photos, and scheduling preferences you provide;
  • developing price quotes through TVPerch's approved quotation and pricing system;
  • coordinating scheduling between you and a participating installer, including premium scheduling options where offered;
  • collecting payment from you and processing it through Stripe;
  • compensating participating contractors under separate written agreements, including administrator review of completion photos before payment;
  • supporting you and the installer through completion of the installation, and working to resolve service concerns and damage reports through the processes described in these policies.

Participating installers are responsible for the installation services they accept, including the manner and quality of the work, safe work practices, their own tools and equipment, and their own licensing and insurance obligations. Because installation is a physical service performed at your property by an independent professional, outcomes depend on site conditions, equipment, and the individual contractor's work.

TVPerch works to screen participating installation professionals through its contractor onboarding process, which includes collecting each contractor's insurance and licensing information. Contractors remain independently responsible for maintaining appropriate licenses, insurance, and professional qualifications throughout their participation, and TVPerch's screening does not guarantee that a particular loss is covered by insurance or that coverage will remain unchanged. You are encouraged to communicate with your assigned contractor about installation conditions, project-specific concerns, and applicable insurance coverage, and you may request confirmation of the contractor's insurance coverage before installation; contact us and we will direct you to the appropriate contractor or insurance documentation process.

The precise legal characterization of TVPerch's role (for example, as a marketplace intermediary, booking agent, or the party responsible to customers for the services) is an important legal question that TVPerch has asked its attorney to finalize, and these Terms do not depend on any particular characterization. In particular, nothing in these Terms should be read as a blanket statement that TVPerch has no responsibility for installation outcomes: TVPerch commits to respond to service concerns and damage reports through the processes described in our Damage Claims & Service Concerns policy and to work toward a fair resolution.

3. Eligibility and Accurate Information

You may use the Site to request installation services only if:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • the information you submit (contact details, installation address, TV and mount details, site conditions, and photos) is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge;
  • you are the property owner or have the owner's or authorized occupant's permission to arrange the installation;
  • an adult age 18 or older will be present at the property throughout the installation and is authorized to provide access;
  • your use of the Site is lawful and does not involve fraudulent, misleading, or abusive submissions.

Fraudulent submissions (including requests made with false contact information, payment details, or property authorization) may be declined, canceled, and reported to payment processors or law enforcement as applicable.

4. Booking and Confirmation

You submit installation details through the Site's request form. Submitting a request does not create a booking. Booking availability varies by market, and TVPerch aims to respond to new requests within approximately three business days. Where coverage in your area has not yet been confirmed, we will tell you honestly rather than promise service.

Payment receipt does not necessarily mean that an installation appointment has been scheduled. Appointments become confirmed only through TVPerch's established scheduling process, in which a participating installer has accepted the job and a specific arrival window has been agreed. Your preferred dates, times, and windows are requests, not guarantees, and contractor availability may affect fulfillment. If TVPerch cannot fulfill a paid booking, our Cancellation & Refund Policy describes your refund.

5. Third-Party Bookings

You may book services for another person or property (for example, for a family member, tenant, or business location) when you are properly authorized to arrange the installation. The booking and paying customer may differ from the person present during the installation, but:

  • an authorized adult age 18 or older must be present throughout the installation;
  • the on-site contact must be identified before payment and confirmation, including their name and phone number;
  • the person booking is responsible for the accuracy of the information and for payment.

6. Pricing and Payments

Pricing is calculated through TVPerch's approved quotation system. You see the total installation price before you authorize any payment. Eligible bookings may offer a booking deposit or full upfront payment:

  • The standard booking deposit is 20% of the approved installation price, subject to applicable state restrictions. For example, California bookings use a reduced deposit of 10%, capped at $1,000, in line with California home-improvement payment rules.
  • The deposit is part of your total price, not an additional fee, and is credited toward the total.
  • The remaining balance is collected after your installation is completed, through a secure payment link, unless you paid in full upfront.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. TVPerch does not collect or store your full card number or CVC; card details are entered in Stripe's hosted checkout.
  • Any additional work or charges identified on-site must be disclosed and approved by you before the work proceeds; installers may not charge you directly for additional amounts.
  • Sales or other taxes, where legally applicable, will be disclosed on your quote or payment summary.

Internal contractor compensation and TVPerch commission calculations are not part of your customer pricing and are not disclosed here.

7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are governed by TVPerch's Cancellation & Refund Policy, which applies to both deposit and full-payment bookings and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

A properly completed installation is generally not refundable. Refund requests after a completed installation are reviewed as exceptions (such as billing corrections, legally required refunds, or documented service failures) under the Cancellation & Refund Policy, and workmanship or damage concerns are reviewed through the Damage Claims & Service Concerns process. Refunds are issued only after explicit review and approval by an authorized TVPerch administrator; TVPerch never issues refunds automatically, and nothing in these Terms removes any statutory consumer right or remedy.

8. Service Limitations

Some conditions cannot be safely or properly supported, and an installation may be limited, adjusted, or declined where:

  • the wall or mounting surface is structurally unsuitable, restricted, or unsafe;
  • the television or mounting hardware is incompatible, inadequate, or damaged;
  • the work area is unsafe or cannot be made safe;
  • the requested work involves electrical, structural, plumbing, or other work beyond the booked TV installation service;
  • unexpected conditions are found on-site that were not disclosed at booking.

Details are described in our Installation Requirements & Service Policy. If an installation cannot be completed, amounts paid for work not performed are handled under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

9. Responsibility for Losses, Damage, and Claims

Property damage, television or mounting damage, unsafe mounting, and incomplete work are addressed through TVPerch's Damage Claims & Service Concerns process, which describes how to report an issue and what information to include.

Responsibility for losses is allocated fairly between the parties: participating installers are responsible for performing the work they accept in a safe, professional, and workmanlike manner; TVPerch is responsible for its own acts and omissions in coordinating, quoting, scheduling, and payment handling; and customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, for the condition and compatibility of their equipment, and for providing safe, authorized access.

These provisions are drafted to be balanced and legally reviewable. They do not exclude or limit any consumer right, warranty, or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and no arbitrary liability caps or blanket waivers have been inserted. Any final limitation-of-liability language will be completed during attorney review.

Customers may report installation problems or property damage directly to TVPerch at any time; you are never required to contact the installer before reporting a concern to us. We will review the matter, contact the responsible contractor, and assist in coordinating an appropriate response. Depending on the circumstances, resolution may involve corrective installation work, contractor follow-up, or an insurance claim; coverage decisions are made under the applicable insurance policy.

10. Customer Conduct

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Site's forms, rate limits, or payment links, including automated scraping or repeated automated submissions;
  • submit fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or misleading content;
  • interfere with other customers' requests, contractors' work, or the Site's operation;
  • attempt to access data that is not yours, including other customers' requests or contractors' applications;
  • solicit or pay contractors off-platform in ways that circumvent TVPerch's payment, safety, and accountability systems.

TVPerch may decline service, cancel a request, or suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms, subject to the refund provisions of the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

The Site, its content, and its branding are operated by TVPerch. You may view and use the Site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, republish, or use TVPerch's content or branding for competing purposes without permission. Content you submit (such as photos of your wall or installation) may be used by TVPerch to coordinate, review, and document your installation, and, where you report an issue, to investigate it.

12. Third-Party Services

TVPerch relies on third-party services, including Stripe (payments), its hosting and platform providers, and email delivery providers. Those services operate under their own terms and policies, and TVPerch does not control them. Their availability or changes may affect parts of the service; see the Privacy Policy for the providers involved and how your data is handled.

13. Service Interruptions and Changes

TVPerch works to keep the Site available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or changes to the Site may temporarily limit features. If an outage affects a payment you attempted, your payment status is confirmed through verified payment records and Stripe events, not merely a browser redirect, and any charged amount for an unfulfilled service is refundable under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

TVPerch may update these Terms. The current version is always available on the Site with its effective date and version number. Material changes that affect a booking you have already paid for will not reduce your refund rights as described in the policy versions you accepted at payment; the version you accepted is recorded with your booking.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of [ADMINISTRATOR TO CONFIRM: ] the governing state, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights in your state of residence. TVPerch asks that you first contact us about any dispute so we can try to resolve it directly. Formal dispute resolution provisions (including any arbitration, class-action, or forum-selection terms) have intentionally not been inserted and will be drafted and reviewed by counsel before taking effect.
