SMS & Communications Terms

How TVPerch communicates with you about your booking or application.

Version 1.1-draftLast updated: October 20, 2026Effective: upon administrator approval
This document is a plain-English draft prepared for review by an attorney experienced in nationwide service marketplaces. It is presented so customers and contractors can read how TVPerch operates. It is not attorney-approved legal advice, and final versions take effect only when approved and published by TVPerch.

1. Current Communication Status

TVPerch currently communicates primarily by email: request confirmations, payment links, scheduling coordination, installer completion links, and support replies. Text messaging (SMS) is not an active part of TVPerch's service today.

When you submit an installation request, the SMS consent choice is optional and unchecked by default. If you opt in, TVPerch may use your mobile number for transactional messages if and when SMS delivery is enabled for your booking (see Section 2). Opting in does not subscribe you to marketing texts, and TVPerch does not advertise SMS as an active service channel until it is one.

2. Planned Transactional Messages (If SMS Is Enabled)

If and when TVPerch enables SMS, opted-in customers may receive text messages used only to deliver the service they requested, such as:

  • appointment confirmations and scheduling notifications;
  • installer arrival coordination on the day of service;
  • responses to support questions about your booking.

These are transactional, service-related communications tied to your booking. They are not advertisements, promotions, or offers.

3. Marketing Consent Is Separate

Marketing communications, if TVPerch ever introduces them, would require their own separate, affirmative consent, and would never be treated as covered by agreeing to the Terms of Service, submitting a request, or accepting a transactional booking. Any marketing text program would be described in its own terms before it launched.

4. Consent, Opt-Out, and Rates

Consent to transactional texts is collected only where you affirmatively opt in, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting TVPerch through the form on our Contact page (or, once SMS is active, by replying STOP to any message, which opts you out of further texts for that program). Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Message frequency, once SMS is active, depends on your booking and scheduling activity.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messages are not a guaranteed or emergency communication channel; time-sensitive matters should be confirmed by email or phone through your booking communication.
